Celebrating Thursday! الاحتفال بالخميس

In celebration of the weekend, I am taking half of the day off!
This means:
  • Going to the gym in daylight.
  • Spending time with my family
  • Tending to and pampering my little self.
  • Get my university transcripts so I would finally finish my grad school application!
My best friend's mother is away, so I suggested that we host a tea party at her place! Suggestions on theme, decorations, menu? what to wear and so on?
I think Arabic is a very, very beautiful language;
the word spells "Light" in Arabic نور here ; 'Spacetime Continuum - Noor' by Sarah Badr, 2008.

عشق is love..or passion! here
The sun is just begining to come out now at 11:30 am...lazy are we?
There are some people in your life, who make the dreariest of days bright. The coldest of days warm. Effortlessly; for all they need to do is smile. Smile and your life is a better place, your day is suddenly rainbow-like.

In celebration of the weekend?!? Love it! :D
And ooh, a tea party. Hmm.... you could always take a look at Vanessa's site: http://afancifultwist.typepad.com
I think it's cool to have lots of different cups and plates and colours... I'd probably have a coffee + chocolate party myself though! :D Have fun...

A tea party? Alice in Wonderland of course! I could cram plates full of jam tarts and millionaires shortbread!

Arabic is so beautiful you're right :) I spent a few years in Riyadh when I was little and my parents bought cutlery when we were there, the hall marks almost look like decoration it's so pretty and delicate!

I love tea parties! They remind me on a 50s - big skirts, jazz, a lot of fun! cool!

I'm afraid I don't understand about the place with the catalogues and you order they ship?

Hmmm.

Is it an online thing?
That is a good idea too! What I want to do first is find some nice shops out in the real world that may want to sell my products. Perhaps my photographs would look great in a café in Cairo... or you know of a nice independent bookstore... :) :) :) No worries, just asking if maybe you can think of something! It would be seriously cool to be represented in Egypt.
