Dear Semester, You are eating me alive!

I follow a lot of wedding blogs, and I don't know why- I am not getting married any time soon. But then, I saw this and I think it's THE most beautiful wedding I have ever seen!

I have been up for almost three hours and I have tons to do. And by tons I mean, around a total of 20,000 words to write. It's end of semester and I have to write the following:
  1. A paper of forgotten stars in international trade; people who have contributed to the theory but are rarely ever given credit (anymore) - 11 authors.
  2. two reaction papers on methods of development analysis.
  3. A term paper applying different schools of development analysis on a country that has(or hasn't) developed (without mentioning the country)
  4. A term paper on international factor movements.
  5. A paper on the reflection of Egypt in the 60s in literature (which I have to edit for a panel discussion)
And what do I do? I look at tumblrs and read Milan Kundera and listen to music instead!

here

Thursday something that inspires you: Everything inspires me, nature inspires me. My family. Music and books. Egypt inspires me. A culture so fertile, it's unbelievably beautiful.

Friday The five songs you would have with you on a desert island and why. That's a hard one..can I make them artists? Regina Spektor, Panic at the Disco, Jason Mraz, Mohamed Mounir and Salalem

Saturday what you imagine paradise to be like: I would imagine paradise would have all the people I love, all the books I could ever read, eternal happiness and being able to eat all you want without getting fat!

You sound very busy!! The end of the semester is always a frenzy. For me right now, it is the calm before the storm.

Ahh uni can so busy and annoying. I hope you get it all done. Don't worry I think we all procrastinate assignments and assessment.

I love weddings and that one is beautiful! I subscribed to a lot when I was planning the wedding but I still love to look at them now. x

Oooh that wedding is GORGEOUS. It's the colours and the bride's happiness that makes it so stunning for me.

I totally understand how you feel. I have so so much work to do... I'm just putting it off in the hope I'll be more motivated later, when all I achieve by doing that is making myself more stressed!! One day I'll learn...

Oh, gosh. Your workload sounds MAD. All the best, dearest! I know you can finish everything in time. :) And you're not alone either. It's 3am where I live and I'm still up making notes for my finals next week.

By the way, I'm thinking of hosting a Mixtape Swap. Would you be interested in joining? It's just an idea I'm toying with... More info on my blog.

Aaand ahh, wedding blogs. It's such a girl thing! ;) x

Oh and I know you're busy, but if you get a second, I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out with a new project I'm running and spread the word. It's a new initiative to give people a place to talk anonymously about things that are bothering them... http://chicknamedhermia.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/secret-stories-update/

girl, good luck!
keep on task and know how much time you will have to dream when your assignments are finished(not that life isn't about the glorious little distractions, though)!

that sounds like a pretty great version of paradise to me.

:)

Just so you know, thanks to this post I was bitten by the wedding bug for a good few days and just spent hours looking at weddings as amazing as the one you shared! And I never used to daydream about weddings before then haha.

I love your idea of apradise and Regina Spektor is so talented :)

Good luck on the 20,000 words ... meep! Hope you ace everything and get to relax afterwards!
