Lately :)

I am tired. And I am just so tired.

I keep thinking of things I shouldn't be thinking of right now, since my entire brain capacity should be directed towards the 2 papers I have to hand in on Wednesday - instead;

I think of pretty things.

I think of whether we really communicate any more. Not through the internet, but real communication. Do you really look into someone's eyes as you talk to them? Do you interact with people in person?

I think of my value added at work and how that would motivate me. If I feel that my value-added is significant.

I think of the beach. I think of my life. I think of all other things but my papers.

I love you and I need you all to wish me good luck ( I also applied for a fellowship that's worth (almost) USD 10,000- my sister did so too) there's a slight possibility that I graduate next year.

I miss you!

How are you, lovelies? I will make sure I do my commenting once I am done with this :)

Sarah, I originally decided to 'follow' you because you were incredibly introspective. That hasn't changed; there's a lot going on in that head of yours and I love that you share it.

Constantly evaluating life, and our place in it, can pull us in a thousand different directions. I know how hard it can be to focus, actually I'm working between this comment and a new post for my blog right now.

I know you're under pressure to get these papers finished but I think some rest would do you good. As I write this I know it's almost Tuesday in Cairo and time is ticking away.

The things preoccupying your mind right now are definitely worth talking about though, and would make a great post.

I find that jotting these things down helps get them off my mind. If it's something you'll consider it may let you focus more on your papers.

The things you're pondering will still be around Thursday. :)

Good luck sweetie.
I noticed the thing about communication too. I barely talked to any of my friends, apart from facebook, and texts. I stopped using facebook for a while, and we started communicating again.

Once again, good luck.
You are lovely.

LOVE!

Since I've worked sooo much in front of the computer for over a year now, I've come to realise more how important communication is. Meeting people and actually hearing their voices, looking into their eyes. So I try to get out and meet people irl too and not spend all my time in here even though the internet is a wonderful thing and almost everyone is in here :D

......and GOOD LUCK!!.......

Even though many of my friendships are long distance, real communication is one of the most important things in life to me, and so vital to any friendship. I'm so thankful to physically be able to be with friends and family, and that Joel is here in Dubai and not in the US. I do need to make seeing people more of a priority sometimes though. Life seems to get so busy and things get left out!

Thank you so much - I can hardly believe it myself! So happy and thankful.

Love,
Cait

Good luck, I now you will do an amazing job, you are so dedicated to your schooling. You are almost done, hang in there.
PS. Beach date soon...in blogger world, I think all of us should try to go to a beach the same week and photograph it, so it will be like we all went with that person...how fun, but not until you are done with your school year. :)

I love reading your posts because you make other people think through your thinking! Does that make sense?

I would like to think people still communicate, but not as much as people used to...I think people need to communicate with the world around them, the Earth, their bodies, and their people surrounding them. It's a good goal to have!

good for you, sweetheart! i will be sending some thoughts and prayers your way.

i agree, i am always striving to bring a personal and human touch to my communication - be it email, letters, face to face, or phone calls. we are so out of touch with what it really feels like to talk to someone else these days.

I really hope that great things come your way~! And I do talk to people...if I didn't I would never have anything to write about, lol, but also, I enjoy people now that I am age 40 more than I ever have. I guess being more comfortable with self really does equal being more comfortable with others.
