secrets

Look what Taylor did! I am beyond happy! Taylor, you just made my...YEAR!

I was talking to a friend of mine about how sometimes you have secrets. An accumulation of secrets can leave you with a heavy heart- with a heavy heart, you cannot float, and you cannot fly. You see, I like to have my head in the clouds...

And some secrets you just can't tell anyone. But I am the kind of person who always gets the urge to tell someone...and so came postsecret, and six billion secrets and so on.

I wrote a few secrets (the ones that I can never, ever tell anyone) on sheets of paper, folded them up, and hid them somewhere (I like to believe I hid them, but that "somewhere" is a very obvious place)

The whole point of this post is, through Taylor's post, I found sealaura and I thought, why not put the pieces of folded paper in a bottle, and through them in the Nile, in the sea, or, in many other people's cases, the ocean? or would that be littering?

Do you ever feel the same way? those secrets that make it harder to breathe? (even if it is to a very negligible extent?)

I dont think that secrets are the ones that would make our hearts heavy..

but its the words.. have you ever felt that you have sooooooo many things to say but no body to listen so you reach a level that you start talking to yourself..

thats why people have blogs.. right.. you say what you want and people listen...

Also dont worry.. throw it in the nile maybe it will reach an ocean right..

I think it may be littering, but what the hell! Just tell the police you're a romantic soul and I'm sure they'll understand!

And yeah, I HATE keeping secrets! Not that I'm not trustworthy (I can keep secrets), but they just eat away at me! Thankfully The Boy is the world's best secret-keeper (cos he normally forgets the thing, lol) so if I'm dangerously close to spilling the beans, I can tell him and know it's still a secret!

I don't like secrets. A friend once told me about postsecret. I used to write my secrets in a little book, and put it under my bed. But my mom cleaned my room, and found the book. I was happy she didn't read it. She said "I found your diary". My heart sank. Then she said "I respect you. I didn't read it". I smiled. haha.
Have a great day.

LOVE!

Oh!!!! Yes definitely.... but over the years i am trying to come to terms with all those hard secrets.... and i am trying to be bigger and more powerful than them.... so i guess eventually i will overcome them and they will not be secrets any longer.... Like my previous commenter said.. i would definitely think of littering and wasting papers..... so i have stopped writing these things down....

I've a secret at the moment. I actually want to scream it from the rooftops. The power it's taking to not, my God!

I don't really have any secrets. Except for one, and I've told a few people... it makes me seem crazy, but it's my secret, and I like to keep it close to me.
I loved Taylor's post too. :D She's so sweet.

I absolutely adore secrets. I feel like I sort of need them. Which I guess could be a bad thing.

Which is normally why I regret telling people things. But really, theres something so delightful about having a part of yourself that you hide, or well, keep for youself and no one else.

I used to write secrets all the time in a little book. But I freaked out, and threw it away.

I still wonder if anyone ever found it.

Also, by the way, I sent you an email regarding wjdkyy. I thought I'd just remind you, (My internet is so slow at the moment I can't check and see if you have replied)

It's good to keep some secrets, but those secrets that make us sad or ashamed in anyway are best shared with someone who you trust to be understanding and compassionate.

It's great that Taylor expressed how much your words mean to her. I agree about secrets--and I think your suggestion for them is right on the mark.

That, and also writing it down on chits of paper and burning them. I've heard that lifts of a burden from your chest!
