....Bleh?

Because I love the sea.

Because I love the sun.

And the sky. And the stars.

Maybe this could be my next favorite thing to do. Going to Sokhna.

Have I mentioned I am in love with my new phone? And hating a new, home-grown book?

I have pretty much nothing to say...

Just When I Thought

Just when I thought everything is going alright, I get angry at everything...AND everyone.
And nothing is going my way and I'm being a spoilt little bratt about it.

I have finished two books in a week; one Arabic, one English; both written buy Egyptian authors. Both women. Oh the feminism that lies unannounced and not-cared-for within me.
Yes, I don't norish my feminism. Because I do NOT believe in equality as much as I don't believe inferiority!
Women are not and will never be equal to men, yet they will never be inferior. We're two different creatures, two different creations; the comparison remains invalid.

Just when I thought I had spare time to invest into doing someting useful for a change, my recently formatted laptop decides against it, and I have no MicroSoft Word to work with...

Just when I thought I could spend the weekend in Alexandria, my dad decides to come.
Just when I thought I had enough money to buy a nose ring, I'm broke enough to not be able to get the actual piercing.

On a brighter note, the weather is getting prettier (and hotter) by the day! I'm approaching my 8th " monthiversary" and I'm turning 21 in exactly 4 months and 11 days.

Rambling

Because maybe I should diet...
Maybe I should adopt a zen- lifestyle in general
and stop wasting time...

Cairenes on strike!

Egypt- the land of all things beautiful.
Inflation- when everything becomes ugly.
I was at a coffeshop today, my boyfriend and I, and we bought: chicken crepe, 1 cappuccino, 1 tea ; we paid 50 le. Given that this is a luxurious service to many, and that this is no top-notch cafe...
A one pound note is now almost value-less, wages and salaries aren't increasing at a rate that matches that of prices, that's if they increase at all (wages that is). Government officials are on national television denying the fact that prices are increasing, that corruption exists and say that everything is perfectly fine.
So going on strike is the only way!
Go on strike we will.
The 6th of April- The Nation on a General Strike.
I love you Egypt, with all my heart.
